Cloverfield

So I bought the movie Cloverfield last week. I don't know if I was all caught up in the Internet frenzy or not. I just thought it looked like it would be good. I read an interview with the director and he said that he figured the movie would look better on a TV screen than it had at the movie theater, and in fact that is how it had been designed. Good thing to say just in time for DVD sales, but there you go. I didn't mind the movie itself but it's the first monster movie I've ever seen where I was cheering for the monster. I mean, there is just no possible way that the human characters could have been any more annoying. Man.
